Peter will nod and will take a step forward placing his shield at his feet his hands clasping the top of the rim.
"I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the Professor during very dire times, a village was struggling with a Necromancer in the area and were obviously ill-equiped for the monstrosities that came from the darkness. So myself and a few other crusaders and priests of the Dawn Flower rode out to meet this threat and cast its evil back in the pit that it came from. While on our travel to get to said village, a man met with us, none other the Professor. He told us that he wished to assist in a intellectual way and do what he can to analyze any weakness the monstrosities had to better equip us to battle them. After much deliberation the senior priest agreed to bring him along. We rode into the town square, the streets were empty as if no one had ever lived here, the only signs of humanity were the food still in stalls attempting to be sold, the bucket of water drawn from the well tipped over and just a bit of the water clinging inside still. Than the descended on us, dozens of shamblers. I was tasked to protect the Professor while the more veteran and senior members of our Order dispatched the zombies only suffering minor problems. The professor was able to study the corpses and deduce relative magic variables and things far beyond me. However one thing he did explain about the magic was that we didnt need to kill some of these things, that if the necromancer was killed some of them would revert back and be able to be put to rest. The experienced members left for the crypts in the graveyard, while myself and a few including the Professor stayed. We cleaned up and than found the night was setting, we held up in the church to wait for our companions. When night could get no stiller, the necromancer appeared. He was still reeling from what I can assume was the battle prior to his arrival, we wasted no time and attacked. I was struck down with a mighty spell that sapped me of most of my strength, I had enough to still swing my mace with some severity though, the professor told me if I could get ahold of the amulet around the fiends neck he believed we could still prove victorious. My brothers fell one after another as we attempted to remove this unholy relic from this being, my fellow crusader, Gregor, was able to rip it from the fiends neck and toss it to the Professor before he was laid low...than with a few incantations and thrusting the amulet onto the alter of our glorious deity, the amulet shattered with violent force and the souls of those who were trapped by this monster were allowed to leave. For the beast he was not so lucky, without his powers to protect him and in his weakened state the Dawn Flower shined its glorious light for daring step in his place of worship and incinerated the beast."
Peter will compose himself and look at the grave.
"The Professor saved my life and a few others of my Order that day, but more importantly he stood up against the necromantic forces that plague this land and would not bend and break. He did was needed to be done and was one of the most pure and noble men i've ever had the privilege to know. I truly will miss him, and may your afterlife be filled with the light of the Dawn Flower as you very much deserve."
Peter will pull out a wooden symbol of a sun that looks poorly carved, and will place it on the casket, taking a few steps back after doing so.
